Your use of the service is subject to our Privacy Policy. Device telemetry (GPS, screenshots, command logs) collected through Sentinel is owned by you. Sentinel processes this data solely to provide the service and does not access, sell, or analyse your telemetry for any other purpose.
You are responsible for ensuring that the collection of telemetry from enrolled devices complies with all applicable laws in the jurisdictions where those devices are operated, including obtaining any required employee consents.
The Sentinel platform, including its source code, user interface, algorithms, and documentation, is owned by Sentinel Security System and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to the platform's underlying technology beyond the right to use the service as described.
You retain all rights to the data you generate or upload through the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Sentinel's total liability to you for any cause of action shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim.
Sentinel is not liable for: indirect or consequential damages; loss of data caused by device destruction or wipe commands initiated by the account holder; failure to recover a stolen device; or service interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure or network conditions outside our reasonable control.
The remote wipe and data destruction features are irreversible. Always maintain independent device backups. Sentinel bears no liability for data loss arising from the execution of wipe commands, regardless of who initiated them.
By you: Cancel your subscription at any time via the dashboard. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
By Sentinel: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, particularly the Authorised Use provisions. We may also terminate with 30 days' notice for any other reason, with a pro-rated refund of unused subscription fees.
Upon termination, all enrolled devices retain their agent installations but lose remote command capability. You are responsible for removing agents from your devices.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation for 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
